The Mill & Processing Plant
About the mill
Gainey Capital’s recently upgraded 300 Tonnes/day mill is located in the prolific gold/silver Sierra Madre region of Western Mexico. It is the only one in the region to include a gravimetric/flotation processing center, which optimizes gold and silver recovery rates.
The mill is run by Mexico Operations Manager, George Cantua, who previously supervised Barrick Gold’s 20,000-tpd mill in the Dominican Republic. The infrastructure is in place to support a second 300 tpd ball mill, ramping up through-put capacity to 600 tpd at such point as the company is ready to expand further.
The Mill has been upgraded again in 2018 (please see the Company's news release from May 10th, 2018) as Gainey continues to sample mineralized material in the area for potential toll processing operations.
It is a fully-operational plant set to provide early toll-processing revenue.
